Monday Mood Musts
Yup Monday has finally come to an end, now for the week to really begin. Mr. Groundhog saw his shadow... So stay warm- Gwen Stephani's collaboration with Burton this season makes me want to get out on the slopes. Eat ice cream, yes, this just in wine ice cream exists! Unfortunately it's only sold in upstate NY right now :( and of course a daily dose of

Opposites Attract
I'm not a morning person, he is. He was brought up with a routine, I was brought up rushing out the door and getting everything done last minute. Last, he's always hot I'm always freezing- despite our total opposite preferences in life we are absolutely perfect for one another. Problem is how does the perfect couple, with completely different takes on how a day should be ran find that balance? A routine that works for the procrastinator and the man with an everyday plan.
Writing this I can't help but feel a little Carrie Bradshaw coming out of me. But it's the little things in a relationship that need attention and some action to find find the balance of his and hers lifestyle.
Thoughts?

Dog Beds in Progress
Afternoon birdees
Last week I posted my project of the month- doggie beds for my two girls Lia & Baby. Since then I have salvaged old pillows and stuffing around the house, found fabrics in my many boxes of fabric (which my boy friend thinks I hoard) and have begun construction!
Lila's bed is almost complete and I hope to have them both complete by tonight or Friday by the latest. So next time I post the finished projects shall be revealed :)
HAPPY HUMP DAY

Project of the month
2014 I set my bar a bit high. So this year I'm coming down to goal by setting smaller more reasonable goals that I can actually achieve; with work, two dogs and a boyfriend (which feels a lot like being a single mother of 3 at times). A project a month- I CAN do that...and maybe even a little bit extra!
One accomplishment a month is a lot better than a long list of to dos that never gets done.

First step: finding the right fabric....

The End Result
Last week I posted a picture of one of Ashley Olsen's gorgeous hair cuts, and two nights ago I pulled out the scissors.
After one too many bad hair cuts and too much money spent at local salons I took the scissors into my own hands. So no matter what I always end up with a hair cut I can be happy with; and no body is perfect so the next day after I shower I always go back to the mirror with a comb just to make sure I didn't leave and stragglers or one side longer than the other.
What started out as a trim gradually turned into a balancing act, trying to even the length out... about four inches later with some long layers, I finally got the right cut. I cut, then I conditioned (thermal leave-in conditioner), used a perfect curl iron, and finally slept on it to achieve those effortless loose curl that makes Victoria Secret models look like Angels ;)
I literally WOKE UP LIKE THIS (so these selfies are makeup free)
